Adaptive Athletics

Combine Strength and Conditioning protocols in a strength coach’s playbook with a list of simple corrective exercises. Take the list and change the protocol to fit for the model for a disabled individual rather than an athlete. At least then the disabled gets a fighting chance to become abled.

Weightlifting

Weightlifting is the true Olympic barbell sport. The competition is of the snatch, clean and jerk. These are some of the most difficult movements to execute. When done poorly without guidance, bad habits, or worse injury, are prevalent. However, when executed properly, it becomes poetry in motion.

Therefore, in a training program, utilize the snatch, clean, jerk and associated movements either as the competitive athlete, CrossFitter, or general enthusiast.
